Wisconsin Charter Fishing in early May for Coho Salmon

Silver King Charters offers Wisconsin charter fishing trip for salmon and trout seven days a week. We start in late March and end in early November. This picture was taken on May 4th and the trip started at 10:00AM. We offer two trips a day, with the first trip starting a half hour before sunrise and the second trip starting right after the first trip ends. This is our midday trip and for people who do not like to get up early or are coming from distance the midday trip is the ticket. The early morning trip on average does produce better catch rates but this group caught their limit on a midday trip. Early in the year when the water is colder the action is just as good during the midday trips a lot of times. Coho salmon are not shy about biting when the sun is up.
