Every year there are about 2.5 million Coho salmon stocked in Lake Michigan and early May  through June is the best time to catch them. Our catches are almost all Coho salmon and they are our favorite to eat. Coho salmon lead to better numbers in a catch. If you want salmon the Coho time is as good as it gets.
