Pam's Big Chinook Salmon while Milwaukee Charter Fishing

Pam holds one of many big Chinook Salmon she caught Charter Fishing Milwaukee on Lake Michigan during an August trip aboard Silver King Charters. Pam, her husband Troy and father-in-law Gary crushed the fish on this particular morning.

She had many opportunities to land fish on this trip and near the end she was wishing the fish would stop hitting. Troy and Gary would have kept fishing for the rest of the day if they could. When we first motored out the sun was rising and we had clear skies but as we started to fish a thick fog began to surround us. I am prepared for all conditons we will face on the water and fog is a common one. With two GPS units, a compass and a depth locator you will be perferctly safe in these conditons. When I am under power I travel only as fast as conditons permit.

The fog can turn fish spooked by sunlight into ones that will hit anything. during this trip the fog did just that and we landed over 20 Chinook Salmon. Flasher/fly combination did the trick with white flashers and green or pearl flies working best.

August Milwaukee Charter Fishing is outstanding for mature four year old Chinook Salmon. These fish are bulking up for their fall spawning runs. These fish are excellent fighters and the big ones can take out over 600 feet of line on you. I think that's why Pam didn't want to see anymore stikes near the end. She had some long fights.

Each month of the season has something special about it but August can lead to some sore arms and a lot of pounds of fillets Charter Fishing Milwaukee. So be ready for a good time this summer fighting Salmon when you book a trip aboard Siver King Charters.
