Milwaukee Charter Fishing the First week of May

By the first week of May we have already been fishing for several weeks. We put the boat in late March and by early May we are catches Coho salmon on a regular basis. The Coho salmon usually show up when bait fish called alewives swim to shore to spawn. This usually starts by mid April and the Coho salmon are not far behind. The action is usually close to shore and when you find a school of salmon it can be fast action.
