Wisconsin Charter Fishing April Salmon and Trout

Every year we try to be in the water by late March. We start the season targeting Brown trout but as soon as the Coho salmon show up we switch over to catch them This could happen mid trip of a charter. Coho salmon start to be caught there is a good chance there are many around. There favorite set up is and orange dodger and small peanut fly or tinsel fly. The Coho salmon bite will be found in the top 15 feet of water and usually right close to show or in the harbor of Milwaukee. Wisconsin charter fishing Coho salmon is our favorite because when you get on a school you can have several fish on at once. April, May and June are the best months to target Coho salmon.
