Early May trips off Racine Wisconsin can be very productive once you find a pocket of warm water. We went 14 for 18 on this trip and most of the fish came in the last hour and a half of the trip. We struggled for a couple of hours until we found some 50 degree surface water in 20 feet of water just off shore. We worked a quarter of a mile stretch back and forth and were able to make this trip a success.
