Silver King Charters was fishing an early July morning when we caught this nice limit of Lake trout. On Lake Michigan for Wisconsin you are able to keep 5 fish per person but only two of them can be Lake trout, so a limit of Lake trout is 8 for four people. The other two fish our Rainbow trout. The Lake trout is the natural species on Lake Michigan and is also the number one stocked fish in the lake. Lake trout also live after spawning unlike salmon. This makes Lake trout the most numerous fish in Lake Michigan. Silver King Charters is outstanding at producing Lake trout.
