Our first Lake trout from the 2015 season was 16 pounder. We caught this on April 4th and April is very good for Lake trout and Brown trout fishing. We can usually catch these fish right outside the harbor. On this trip we boated several Brown trout and a couple of Lake trout. This fish hit a spoon in 30 feet or water right outside the north gap in Milwaukee's McKinely Marina.
