This was a real big Lake trout caught in July on 2015. This fish weighed 23.5 pounds and was caught during Salmon-A-Rama. It took 2nd place overall in the lake wide contest and came within 30 minutes of winning the 9 day event. We purchase a $500 ticket so everyone who fishes that week with Silver King Charters is entered and can win cash prizes. The event takes place starting the second Saturday in July and we book all 20 spots for this every year, so call early. This was a great fish to catch on a charter but it was even more special when Tim was able to cash a $1000 check for catching it during salmon-a-rama. It was 30 minutes away from being worth $20000!
