This sets up a great fishery, with potential of catching trophy fish. These harbors have more reliable seas for spring charter fishing off Racine and Milwaukee during unpredictable spring weather.

Spring, Summer and Fall Brown Trout Fishing Charters in Milwaukee and Racine
Silver King offers late March and April Brown trout fishing. This is the time of year that is best for Brown trout fishing in Milwaukee and Racine Wisconsin harbors. The Milwaukee and Racine harbor area's have the best Brown trout fishing on the Great Lakes during this time of year. In Late March and the first couple weeks of April the primary target is Brown trout. This is the best time of the whole season to target Brown trout and 75% of all the Brown trout caught during the year are caught during this time period.
Brown trout range from 2 pounds to 16 pounds and there have been several 30 plus pound Browns landed over the last few years. We have landed several 25 to 34 pound Brown trout over the years. It will only be a matter of time before this area produces the next world record Brown trout.
The once world record 41.8 pound Brown trout was caught off Racine Wisconsin in 2010.
Brown trout can be caught on any trip. When the water cools down near shore in 10 to 50 feet of water June, July and August can be very good for Brown trout fishing. We will also be catching salmon at this time. West winds will set this up. September and October is the time of year when Brown trout spawn and this is also a good time to catch Brown trout.
At times we catch Brown trout in deeper water but for the most part they are a shallow water fish. But if you want your best chance at catching one late March and early April is the time to book your trip. We have the cabin enclosed at this time of year to keep you comfortable when it gets cold.

Silver King Charters has all the baits to catch these fish in spring and our boat is two thirds in closed so you are protected from the elements. By the end of April we are beginning to transition to Coho fishing as Racine charter fishing becomes some of the best fishing of the year.
Our boat is fully rigged and ready to catch Brown trout and Coho salmon in the spring. We target these fish with planner boards, dipsy divers and downriggers, using stick baits or spoons when going for trout and dodgers and peanut flies on just about every rig for Coho salmon. This is our most productive time of the year for catching number of fish. When Milwaukee charter fishing for Brown trout in April the fishing can be very fast and limit catches are common. Racine charter fishing in May is when the Coho salmon action is best and we have over a 75 percent limit catch rate during this month. The Coho salmon is the best eating fish on the Lake Michigan and very fun to catch. Captains Willy and Kurt Pokrandt have plenty of experience to turn this good fishing into a hot bite, so weather may be chilly in spring but the Milwaukee Brown trout and Coho salmon fishing is hot in April and May.
Silver King Charters also offers fall harbor trips Milwaukee charter fishing from September through October. The target will be mature spawning Chinook salmon and Brown trout. This can be some of the most explosive fishing of the year, especially for September Chinooks.
